Montgomery Animal Hospital has been in business for more than 50 years. Dr. Schrader purchased the practice in 1979 when he moved to Pennsylvania.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly practice that provides superior medical care and exceptional customer service. Our employees are caring animal lovers and we strive to treat every animal in the hospital as we treat our own pets at home. We understand that a trip to the vet is stressful, and we do our best to make the experience as comfortable as possible for both owner and pet.
Montgomery Animal Hospital is a proud member of the American Animal Hospital Association.

"After calling around to so many other animal clinics that didn't return my call or when they finally did get back to me it was days later offering me a 3-4 week appt which did not work for me or my cats illness.... Montgomery Animal Hospital was able to see my cat the very next day. I loved how professional the staff was. Dr Marks and the staff were very professional and kind and treated my cat efficiently. I also appreciate the cleanliness of the facility. I look forward to returning for all my cats wellness needs"
"Dr. Schrader spent a significant amount time with me, standing outside in the freezing cold, talking about my new puppy, Evie, when I just got her. He answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. When Evie broke her arm and was at another facility, Montgomery Animal Hospital called to check on my girl which is unheard of and it was truly appreciated. The staff are all wonderful, the receptionists and the vet techs are amazing. I moved to New Jersey and I will have to change my vet but I sure will miss the wonderful and caring staff at Montgomery Animal Hospital. I highly recommend this vet!"
"I was desperately searching for a bet to take a look at an infection my 2 year old cat had after I just adopted. Every other animal hospital I called either had a 5 week waiting period or wasn't taking new clients. I was able to get a faster appointment to have my cat looked at and the problem was solved. Dr. Marks was so nice and made us feel very welcome and took good care of my cat! I was looking for a go to vet and I think I found it in Montgomery Animal Hospital!"
